The Platinum Jubilee: Vienna 2026 This week, all eyes are on the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna, Austria. Poignantly, the first Eurovision in 1956 took place in Lugano, Switzerland, when TV was still a novelty. (Unfortunately, the first edition and the 1964 edition are declared lost media.)
